the magic is gone started in around 1998 with javin from drowningman, tom and joe... then they added colin.... then javin left and they were a three piece... then they added me about a year ago... there was an album and an ep pre-me.. and we did an ep with me as well. this is what the cover looks like:

One day after TMIG practice (or maybe it was before i forget) colin was recording a song he wrote at a place we played in black lake new york. we almost died in a fire when a chair in the cabin we were sleeping in caught fire. Since tmig was so closely connected we played with him on this song. we are all singin backups and playing keyboard and guitar or whatever. I forgot which ones of us did which. he wrote this song called "please don't set me on fire". it is on an arbour day comp put out by asaurus records called "These were trees in that forest" Go buy it from them because they are nice people.
